The Bezalel Principles: Theology for Artists

We're bringing in LA-based Arts & Entertainment Ministries for an in-depth examination of art and the artist in the Bible. Learn how important the arts are to the God of the Bible and how we as artists in the Church can rediscover a vital understanding of beauty.

President of AEM, Rev. Joel Pelsue with his wife Michelle teach this class nationally and internationally and will be taking us through four main sessions in a specially crafted one-day experience. Bezalel Principles will be relevant for artists of all kinds, whether it be visual, performing, film, media, music, or fine arts. Artists of all levels and skill-sets will benefit from this event.

Who is Bezalel? The Chief artisan commissioned by God, under Moses and empowered by the Holy Spirit to design and build the Tabernacle, with all its wood work, metal work, tapestry design, architecture, colors and space. We will also be looking at King David's life, a musician, poet, and songwriter.

• CULTURAL RENEWAL & THE ARTIST – Discuss the pitfalls which keep Christians from being a redemptive component of society, examine the lies that must be dispelled, and discover what core beliefs must be maintained for Christians to have the kind of impact upon culture that God desires.
